Hypicritical people

Everyone that works at the church is hypicritical. I think that they are because most of them are not true to God. The go against the main rules of working at the church. Several of them are greedy people and do not deserve to work at the church. This makes them hypicritical.

Ethics/Morals/Hypocrisy

A society that I consider to be unethical is Omish people. They belive in not using the internet. It is part of their way of life and their beliefs. This makes them unethical. An ethical group would be our society today. We use the internet, we practice business, and health practices and laws. Some common morals our socity shares is the love towards one another. A hypocrite is someone that is unfaire to people for a reason that is not a reason to treat one another in this way. I belive I have never been hypocriticall.

This tale is true, and mine is full of happy places and happy dreams of inspiration. My great day has given me inspiration to move forward and be positive. The sea makes me happy, everything to do with the sea puts a smile on my face. It makes me feel joy inside. Only if the sea was not so rough, I would be able to spend more time enjoying myself, rather then holding on for my life. Once I reach my afterlife I will no longer have to try and make myself happy.

Sea Farers Diary

Today is Monday. It is a warm and cloudy day out on the sea. The sea is calm and I am having a bad day. I want it to be an exciting day. I really wish that I could just end my life and go to my afterlife. Everything seems like it would be a better time in heaven. My day could only get better with a miracle. I cant wait till today ends, and Tuesday comes. Then I will have another gloomy day.

Project

My school project on Beowulf went pretty well. We all worked together as a group to make this project a success. One of us would find the quotes, the other one would draw the picture and then one would write the quote and color the picture in. We all took turns switching jobs. My favorite part of the project was being able to work in a group with my friends. This makes it easier. The thing that i disliked the most was haveing a boring section. Not much happend in the section that was chosen for us. The project kind of helped me understand the story better, but not as much as I would have liked it to.

Epic Hero

Beowulf is considered an epic hero to me because he is larger then most people in real life. He is a strong warrior that fights for what he believes in. He seems like he is not affraid to fight and be in control. That makes him a strong leader. Being a strong leader to me makes you a good epic hero. So therefore I feel that Beowulf is an epic hero.

Monster

When I hear the word monster I think of the typical monsters in all of the kids movies. If I had to draw a picture of a monster it would most likely look like one of the monsters of the movie Monsters Inc. Most of my ideas of a monster comes from movies that I have seen when I was a little kid. There are no such things as a real monster, or at least the monster that I think of when I hear the word monster. There are more then one type of monster though. There is the monster that I would think of, the normal monsters in movies. There are also monsters that are considered people. Some people call other mean people monsters.

Modern-day Fairytale

Some of Beowulfs qualities match the qualities of the modern-day fairytales. Such as his strong fighting, never give up power. In modern-day fairytales, all of the characters show courage. They all have a task that they must defeat, as does Beowulf in the story. This gives them similar qualities. They also normally win their task in the end. As does Beowulf. This is how modern-day fairytales and Beowulf are similar.

Courageous

I do think that the character Beowulf is courageous. I think that fighting all of the creaters that everyone else is affraid to fight makes him more powerful. This gives him more courage to accomplish things. Courage to me means that you have a strong will for yourself. You are not affraid to try and accomplish a tough task that other people might be affraid to even think about trying. Courage gives you the will to keep pushing. Someone I know that showed incredible courage is my friends sister when she had her first baby. She needed courage to push her through her situations she was dealing with. She was a single mother with a full time job, and a new baby. Without courage, she never could have beileved in herself the way she did, and come out with a terrific outcome.

Beowulf

So far in Beowulf I feel that there are many events going on that I am carefully trying to follow. I find it easy so far to follow along with the story, but as we go on I think that it is going to become more difficult to follow all the action. Right now in the story, there are not to many names going on right now so I can understand and follow the people. Once more names are mentioned in this story I think that I am going to become clustered with everything.

Some strategies that I could use when the story becomes more difficult is taking notes on all of the names and words that i do not understand. This way whenever i come apon these words again I can just look back on my notes and re read what they mean. I can also use note cards on the peoples names to try and remember them more easily. Or i could just read slowly and try to understand everything my first time through the story, and follow along more carefully.
